Where it all began
Some things are built with an idea.
Others are built with a feeling.
MENDX was born from both.
This year, I lost my father.
A man who taught me, not through grand words, but through the way he lived. A man of strength, character and determination. Someone who faced life head-on, worked for what he believed in, and always put his family first.
He taught me that strength is not about never falling.
It is about getting back up.
That character is built through the choices we make.
That integrity matters, even when no one is watching.
And that nothing truly meaningful comes without effort.
I carry those lessons with me every day.
MENDX is my way of carrying them forward.
What remains
Every piece we create represents something deeper than design. It represents discipline. Simplicity. Authenticity. The belief that quality takes time, that things should be built to last, and that what we create should have a reason to exist.
The Algarve, where this journey begins, is part of that identity — raw, honest and timeless. Its cliffs, its ocean, its light and its simplicity remind me of the values I was taught: stay grounded, keep moving forward, and never lose sight of what truly matters.
My father may no longer be here to see where this journey takes me.
But everything he taught me is.
His strength.
His example.
His values.
His way of never giving up.
They are part of every step I take, and now, part of MENDX.
This brand is my tribute to him.
Not because I want to hold on to the past,
but because I want to carry his legacy into the future.
For everything you taught me.
For everything you gave me.
